From Arusha public bus leaves regularly for Mto wa Mbu from the Arusha main bus station. The bus fair should be approximately Tsh. 5000 to 7000. If taking your own transport, follow The Dodoma Road going to Dodoma until you reach Makuyuni, then turn right on the Ngorongoro Road. Follow Ngorongoro road for 45km. Until you reach the village. The trip from Arusha to Mto wa Mbu should take 1.5 hours by car and 2 hours by bus. Once in the village, tour can be arranged in the Cultural Tourism Enterprises Office in the red banana cafe, located in the center of town, here you can meet a guide who can also help you find accommodation in a hostel or campsite in the village. Arrangement of any tour can be made with your guide.
